Student must have previously taken the introduction to free motion quilting class or had previous free motion experience. This is NOT for beginners, but designed for the person who needs more practice and who wants to add more designs to their quilting repertoire. Each session will have a theme. Session I: flight of the Bumble Bee, focuses on moving from simple looping patterns to including stars, hearts and flowers for whimsical designs. Session II: Calling Mother Nature, incorporates organic themes into quilting designs from the simple leaf to the sublime vine. Session III: Building Backgrounds, and dimension to your quilts and have your mind popping with possibilities. Session IV: Fear Not the Feather!, the iconoclastic motif in all quilting, whether hand or machine, moves into a new realm with free flowing shapes, elongated feathers, addition of curly-cues, and secondary quilting with alternate thread colors to add even more design excitement.
